Meet the team

Chris Norton joined WVIA in 1999 after 23 years at other Northeastern Pennsylvania radio stations, including Rock 107, WEJL, WWDL, and 14 years at Magic 93.  He's a regional native, a graduate of Abington Heights High School and Oberlin College (A.B.), a Leadership Lackawanna graduate, and an adjunct instructor in radio/TV at Marywood University.

Chris serves on the Board of Directors of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the advisory board of Scranton Community Concerts, the Scranton Area Foundation advisory committee to the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts program, and on the session at First Presbterian Church of Clarks Summit.  He'd still be active in community theatre if he had more free time and he'd still be playing recreational softball if he had more flexibility.
